This one today is just a sum up of how this week has felt…it was a darned long one!

 

Another day
another fight
can’t escape the fray
in the dark night

Silence is golden
or so they say
just an evil ruse!
to get us through the day

It’s a neverending search
to quench an eternal thirst
this longing for human touch
never knew a need as such

We all dream of another
to keep close and take care
will we ever find each other
and drive away this fear?

Dread of loneliness
of emptiness, of meaningless
that consumes the human soul

A fear of living in the quiet
never really feeling whole
